I'm making steady progress on some EPP projects at the moment. I have spending a little time each afternoon preparing some pieces for stitching later in the evening. I have been storing them in this little tin and keep them together with a little clover wonder clip. I have 10 of these so I aim to have 10 hexagons or dresdens clipped together all of the time so that I never run out of something to stitch. It's very portable too.
My dresdens for my "Chelsea"quilt are coming along steadily
I have 8 sewn down onto background fabric and another ready to stitch down. I'm over half way !
And I've made a good start on the hexagons for "Confetti". This is a large quilt with a lot of work so to try to keep me on track and show my progress I thought it would be good to keep a tally book. Somewhere that I can cross off my progress and see at a glance what I have left to do.
My gorgeous friend Jenny made me this notebook cover many years ago and it is perfect for the job.
I have written inside how many I need of each shape and have done a count back so that I can cross off what I have done and easily see how many I have left at a glance.
As you can see I have a long way to go but every hexagon will be 1 closer to a finish.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Love and Hugs,
Fee x

You are certainly well organised, Fee! Love seeing all your hexie flowers and beautiful Dresdens...lovely fabrics!
Love your dresdens! How big are the Dresden flowers from edge to edge? I had forgotten all about that notebook I made you, but I always use the book of lists one you made for me. x
