It's official I have a new addiction ! I have been collecting little containers for quite some time now with the intention of making little pin cushions.
Having no spare cash doesn't mean that I can't surround myself with brand new pretty things. This little dish cost just 50c at the local thrift shop and the fabrics were from my stash. So a cheap little addition to my collection.
And I made this little bucket full of yumminess !! It stands just 2 Inches high. Isn't it adorable?
I have these adorable little egg cups and this little glass trinket dish just waiting for a pin cushion addition - $1.50 for all 3 - What a bargain !
And the most recent addition to my stash of containers waiting for inspiration to hit - A clown planter from the 1970's for $4.00
Why don't you give it a try and make yourself a pretty little pin cushion. I would love to see what you come up with.
Hugs - Fee xx

Love your pin cushions. They are a particular favorite addition of mine as well and like you, I've been collecting containers to transform. I love the woven cushion - how clever are you :)
Thanks for the inspiration! I have a couple of "useless" ornaments from my 10th birthday party (53 years ago!) in the cupboard....cannot part with them but they will see the light of day again! Thanks Fee!
Cute little pincushions and great containers. Super inspiration. Hugs Mrs A.
Incredibly cute!
Love your new creations x
I love the 1st one. It is fantastic. How do you fix them into the containers and what do you use as filling for your pin cushions. I have been thinking about making one. Maybe a small project for when my new baby arrives and I need to do things during nap time (quick projects would give me some sense of accomplishment).
Hello, thank you for sharing the pincushions with us. I also have a few "containers" like yours.
Do you glue felt underneath so they don't slide too much on a polished table? Do you weigh them down with sand or small gravel? Beatrice (from France).
I think I will follow your new addiction ... as soon as we have the next "bric a brac".
Kind regards from France
These are adorable. What a good idea. They would make great presents, at least I would like to receive one. The top one is my favorite. I like to make lattice pies, came to mind.
