Where has the time gone?

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly time passes by as I get older.  It is the 25th February !  2 months since Christmas ......  Really ?  And it is only 9 sleeps until I leave the shores of Tassie to go to Let's Get Stitched 2014 in Melbourne and to meet up with my buddies once again.  This will be the 4th year we have met up on the same long weekend in March.

I feel like I am in preparation mode constantly at the moment.  I am preparing a variety of projects for different purposes including some little kits for the goody bags for LGS.  I also have some commission work on the go and I  have had a flood of design ideas that I have had to get down on paper.  I said that I was taking a break from designing but ever since I have had a million wild ideas - Go figure !!

Are you stitching Up The Garden Path with me?  I have almost finished all of the blocks and hope to get them all together for a reveal in the next few weeks.  The little blocks can be stitched in a night so it is not too much of a commitment each month.  The finished quilt is going to look really sweet.

I can't show you my project for Let's Get Stitched yet because some of the girls might be peeking but here are the fabrics I used.  They are just a little bit yummy don't you think?  

They are now all packed up and ready to pack - I suppose I should think about packing soon shouldn't I? 

Preparations for my little secret are well underway and things have been busy busy busy in our household.

  The studio was fitted with Air Conditioning last week so I can now work in there all year round without having to rug up or strip down - It will be Bliss to work in !!
