Today is our 20th wedding anniversary.
22 years ago we met and fell in love and the rest is history. Our relationship is a little different than some others as there is an 18 year age difference. Many said we would never last but here we are still blissfully happy after 20 years of marriage.
We are off out tonight to our favourite restaurant (Italian) it has become a tradition for us to celebrate there.
Things have been busy on the sewing front. I am doing a little secret stitching for a friend and also squeezed in the time to get my project for Let's Get Stitched in March finished.
I love these fabrics and will be cutting up what I have left to make up some kits which will be available to the attendees. It was a very hard decision to actually decide to share these !! I know you understand what I mean.
We are having a little name tag swap over the LGS weekend and it was revealed that my secret partner liked purple amongst a lot of other colours. So I just happened to have some purple wool to play with and I made this little flower to adorn the tag.
And of course what would a name tag be without embroidery?
We are looking forward to getting together again this year - It will be the 4th anniversary of Let's Get Stitched. I wonder which city we will find ourselves in 2015?
Have a wonderful hump day.
Does not look like such a big age gap in that photo
Age is all in the mind and lovely to hear you are still happy together.
I guess the name tag is not mine cos I didn't ask for purple LOL
Getting excited now Soon I will meet you for real xx
Love it Love it! Happy Anniversary Rod and Fee....not my name tag too x x x
Happy Anniversary to you both! You'd never guess there is 18 years difference you both look like spring chickens xxx
PS Bring back that 80's do!
Happy Anniversary! Purple IS my favourite colour, did you spell my name right, lol? Absolutely with you on the fabric, very generous! Have fun!
Happy anniversary! My hubbie and I have 14 yr difference and we are coming up next month for our 29th anniversary....I remember we were told the same thing! What's the event you are going to?
Happy Anniversary Fee!! Why no wedding pic? Would have loved to see that... you both look so young there in that pic, you would never know there was such a big age difference. I actually thought you were late 40's or very early early 50's at latest!
