This Weekend

Well it's still very wintery and cold here and my cold is still sticking around.  Dawn who lives in Adelaide and I (in Hobart) have cut out Mrs Beasley's Quilt this weekend whilst on the phone together.  we both bought kits and are making it together.  I will put Block 1 together when the Tuesday night girls come this week.

This afternoon I decided to get all of the threads in order for this 4 part quilt.  Aren't they pretty ?

And now they are all wrapped around cards and sitting in their tin ready for Block 1 to join them.

And i am currently working on Block 2 of "Chick Jubilee".  Here is Block 1 all finished. It's a gorgeous quilt this one by Anne Sutton of Bunnyhill Designs.

And here is Block 1 of "Berries and Bluebirds" I have decided to make it using my gorgeous bundles of Blushing.  I love the way it is looking in bright fresh colours.  Hopefully this week I will get another block put together.

I hope you found some time for stitching this weekend.

Hugs,

Fee x

I am tempted by mrs Beasley but have so much on the go so instead I will ensure I keep a close eye in yours and Dawns versions.
