Yes that’s what my studio needs a really good tidy up.
I have bits and pieces poked everywhere including lots of UFO’s that I have left out in the hope that I feel guilty and decide to finish them
Like this my “Birds of Happiness” quilt designed by Leanne Beasley, which after about 3 years is finally a finished flimsy. I have decided to have it professionally quilted by my friend “Dawn”. It arrived at her house today and she has threatened to keep it !! I think she is going to make one of her own now too – It is a huge wall hanging – I can’t recall the measurements but it must be 40” wide?
And the other UFO to finally make it into a flimsy is this one – 55” square and made from Bonnie & Camille’s “Vintage Modern”. I love it and can’t wait until it gets back from quilting. I have the binding all ready to stitch on.
I have made some little promises to myself to try my very hardest to get some of these half finished projects off my UFO list – I think 2 is a great start. I know that they will probably get replaced by newer UFO’s at some stage during the year – I’m a realist and I just can’t help falling in love with all of the new projects that are dreamt up by talented designers throughout the year – I have no will power when I fall in love with something.

This year I have signed up with the Fat Quarter Shop to do the “Mystery Block of the Month”, Dawn and Judy are both doing it too.
And my Tuesday night girls have all signed up to do this one together so each month we can do our blocks together for motivation – Let’s hope that neither of these two end up on the UFO pile – Fingers Crossed !!
Hugs – Fee xx

I tidied my room after Christmas but to look at it now you would never know!
Look forward to seeing the birdy wallhanging all finished, it's very pretty.(i totally get why Dawn would want to keep it!)
I fall in love with every new thing myself. I've already reserved FQS Designer Mystery for 2013 as well.
It is too pretty to pass up.
My whole house is just one stack of UFOs.
Two lovely finishes already Fee, you're off to a great start to 2013. The new projects look like they will be lots of fun, love the chick one especially.
Great finishes dear and thank you very much for the sharing.
