Today was a day off for me and luckily I was able to get into the studio for a little while. I am in the process of re-making some of my favourite designs. Here is the start of my "Dreaming of Daisies" Tablerunner. This time I am making it in Papillon.
And I spent some time at my tracing table. I have my light box on an old lift top desk which is on a slant. It is perfect for tracing and makes sitting at the table much better on the back.
How do you trace? I have had my lightbox for a number of years now and if you stitch a lot like me it is a worthwhile investment.
I am also working on a new stitchery BOM which will be released next year - There is lots and lots of stitching in this one so I am doing just a little each day.
My cutting table looks like a bomb has gone off but hopefully by the weekend I will get it cleared and be able to use it again.
A few new fabrics have arrived as well but I haven't had a chance to play with them yet
Last night my Tuesday girls were around for another sewing session. Our new lady Helen brought along some of her bead creations for show and tell. This little doll only stands about 6 Inches and the beadwork on the dress was amazing.
And this one is gorgeous too
And these christmas baubles have beaded dresses
And this lovely little angel was sweet too. I think we will have to have a beading night very soon.
Hugs,
Fee X

I love your table light box, it would be much easier on the back. I usually sit on the floor with mine, but I wouldn't be without it - no more window tracing for me! Lots of lovely fabric and projects too.
The desk for your light box is such a great idea, it looks more relaxing than standing over the kitchen bench like I do, I love your new BOM, I can't wait to see more.
love those new fabrics Fee,and such beautiful beading, she is a very clever lady.xx
The new fabrics look gorgeous and as for your table being a mess - sweetie, I think you need to visit me so that I can really show what a mess is ; )
Love all the bead work too.
keep happy, hugs

Papillon...gorgeous. Wow, the beadwork is amazing! So nice to get a stitchery framed - looks just lovely. And love the bowl too....my mum had one just like it too. Enjoy using it :) Leanne
You've been busy in your studio, Fee! Love that light table. I have a piece of plexiglass that fits over the arms of my chair, then I put a light by my feet. It works ok but a table would be so much nicer! Love your new stitchery, and all the beaded creations!
What a great visit today... loved every word and pic! :)
Just catching up on my blog visiting and I love your light box. Much better than sticky taping to a window!
