Lazy Sunday

It seems like a life time ago that I had a free and lazy Sunday.  I have only just showered and dressed in the mid-afternoon and it feels great !  I could get used to having lots more lazy days like today.

As you know I am re-making some of my favourite patterns and of course Florentine Doily is way up there on my list but this time I am making it in Cabbages and Roses.  I have had a lot of fun making the suffolk puffs to go around the outside.  I never tire of seeing piles of puffs - They are just so pretty.

and I have finished off the stitchery for Dreaming of Daisies Table runner

And this afternoon I have traced up my "Blessings" sampler for a re-make in pretty pastels.  It's nice to re-make things again and again.  I am enjoying it so much.

Part of our lazy Sunday was home made sausage rolls for lunch

And I have a pavlova in the oven for dessert tonight.  Sunday nights are roast night here and all of the family come home for dinner. Tonight is Roast Beef and Veg - Yummo !

So before the house becomes very busy and noisy I am going to curl up under a quilt and have a flick through my new book that arrived this week.

I hope you are having a relaxing Sunday too.

Hugs - Fee X

Sundays like that are the best aren't they. I spent the day painting widow sills and skirting boards for my new room. I'm so glad that job is done.

Sounds like a perfect day - especially if the weather is as bad down South as it is up here! A pile of Suffolk puff is lovely. I finished a pair of trousers and started a tunic top. Have a good week :)

I don't think you were lazy at all Fee, quite productive actually, compared to me, but the important thing is that you enjoyed your day!

Sounds like a great day. Anytime we get a day to ourselves is a wonderful day.

I would LOVE to know how you made those sausage rolls.

Love your suffolk puffs. The sausage rolls and the previous cakes and other goodies are making me hungry....note to self - do not blog hop around lunch time or there's too much lunch eaten!
Hope you are having another relaxing weekend :).
