It has been 8 days since I last blogged - I have been Missing In Action. Sorry about that but we are enjoying such beautiful weather here in Brighton at the moment that the chance to get out in the garden and tidy up and other such things have been too much to pass up. I have even been pottering outside each evening after work once the heat starts to subside.
I have managed to grab a few minutes here and there to work on the little tutorial I am doing for you at the end of the month. Don't forget that you will need a little vintage napkin if you want to play along.
And I have managed a little progress on my newest quilt design but somehow I think this one is going to be awhile..... That's what you get when you keep drawing and forget about how long it's going to take to stitch.
The cats have been loving the warmer weather and make full use of the sun drenched scratch pole. Jack likes to be king of the castle - I did take a lovely photo of all of them sunbaking but the quality was worse than this one - I am still using my Iphone for photographing at the moment. Doesn't he look regal sitting up there?
JT is still recovering from when he was sick so every few days I roast a chicken for them all as it is JT's favourite meal. This is how I have to "Jack" proof the chicken before I serve it to them. He still tries to get to it before it is cool enough to eat.
But not even warm chicken will tempt this lazy fellow from his favourite spot. Dreamer is such a gentleman and waits until everyone has had their fill before he takes his turn. They are all loving the sun drenched/ air conditioned house at the moment - Who wouldn't? It really is a cat's life.
I hope that you are having a lovely week.
Hugs - Fee X

Hi Fee.
Your new stitchery looks relly pretty, I can't wait to see more.
The weather here has been beautiful and I'm lucky enough to have some time off work so we to have been enjoying the outdoors and pottering in the garden.
Have a great day.
Nice stitching there - and who wouldnt want to be a cat lazing around in the sun all day! Enjoy the weather while it lasts

Its a great time to garden after the heat of the day is gone,i so love this warm weather, take care.xx
Your feline friends are delightful and I am sure they feel very lucky to live at your house. I had to laugh about the drawing and forgetting how much stitching is involved....sure can relate to that! LOL! Your newie looks cute. Good luck with the new quilt and put that pencil away.
life sounds idyllic for those cats! like the look of your stitchery and can't wait to see more.
Wish I was a cat lazying about in your house eating roast chicken! What a Life!
I'm with Jo, the idea of lazing in the sun while being in the comfort of air con while nibbling on roast chicken - yum. Sounds bliss xx
hugs, Miche'le
How lovely to see your sweet kitty cats. I'll have to sort through my old linen for a napkin.

You and me both, Fee! Such a wonderful warm summer - at the moment, the call of the beach is stronger than the call of Jenny Janome! Think of all the wonderful inspiration that comes from being outside and doing the things you love :)
I adore the photos of your cat Jack! His is definitely a regal cat.
And I love the idea of using the cup mug for holding scissors...great idea!
You have a lovely blog, dear.
