Today I am linking up with Melody's Tuesday Treasures which this week is about our beloved pets. Most of you would have met "Dreamer" or as he is commonly known around here "Mc Dreamy" named after the dreamy doctor on Grays Anatomy - Surely you know the one???.
All of these photographs were taken over a 3 hour period last night - He was on my lap the entire time.
It is a race each night between Dreamer and Jack to see who can get on my lap first and make it their own.
He has many positions over that 3 hours all of which are made without even opening his eyes.
I have become an expert at stitching with a cat on my lap - It's a case of having to.
He truly makes himself at home.
He is mummy's little man that's for sure.
I adore all of my pets and can't imagine not having them. They bring us so much joy.
A huge thankyou to everyone who left comments yesterday - Thank you so much I truly had a wonderful relaxing day and am already looking forward to next Monday.
Hugs,
Fee XX

Ah! He is so cute and handsome. I named a kitten Stitches because she sat in my lap during the entire construction of a log cabin top!
Awww, he is sooo gorgeous! I hope my little Monty will be just half as cute!
xx
Not fair I want a baby, he is just soooooooooooooo devine Fee makes me want to go shoot someone :(
Not for real I suppose
What a sweety pie. I love the wonderful comforting feeling of a lovely little kitty curled up on my lap. Your photos bought a big smile to my face.
What a wonderful companion!
I went over to Melody's and left a comment about my love story with Pinkie - my beloved kitten.
By the way, I love your designs and your embroidery. The colours you use are pure romance!!!
Thanks for inspiring us.
Got to have a sewing buddy Fee... they keep you warm, are devoted and best of all, agree with everything you say (unlike the kids!!).
Hugs ~ Kerryanne
He is so pretty! You're lucky you can take a pic of him up there - mine gets right in my face and pins my arms down, lol. I'm so glad you enjoyed your day, Fee!!!
dreamer is very cute love those positions, very funny
Hello Fee,
You wouldn't need a fire going with your cat on your lap. He looks so at home.
Happy days.
Bev.xoxo
He looks very snuggly there!
Ohhh what a cutie... Last night my cat sat on my lap and then I could not stop sniffing!!!! As soon ashe lft it cleared - not good! Never done that before... poor pus
Awww he's so gorgeous. Yep know what it's like to have to stitch over cats. I have 2 Siamese that both think they need to be on my lap at the same time. Hugs,
So cute!! I too have become an expert to stitch with a cat in my lap. And if I have a quilt over me you can be sure there is two cats on my lap :)
So relaxing to have them there.
Oh dear, another spoilt, well loved kitty who looks veerryy comfortable!
Dreamer is beautiful. Isn't it funny how animals love to curl up on or around a new quilt in the making. I got all sleepy just looking at your great photos. Love the "Mcdreamy" tag!

We certainly don't own cats, do we. lol They own us!
Like Michelle above, I got a little sleepy looking at the photos, especially the one with the fire in the background.
Oooo to have the life of a cat.... they sure do love to snuggle.

Gorgeous photos Fee - a home with a cat is complete - I just wish one of mine was a lap cat! Glad you had a great "Fee" day and good on you for making the choice
Loved all the photos ,your cat is beautiful and there truly is nothing nicer than having a cat curled up on your lap.
He is just as delicious as the TV Mcdreamy. Don't you love when kitty's do their yoga moves, no matter where they are & how precarious the position. Lovely pics. I love kitty paws so much! Tracee xx
He is beautiful Fee,
they are so very special aren't they..
What a lovely fellow - I love that they love us enough to stay on our laps for hours. Even if it may not be the most convenient thing for us :-)
Maybe I need to get me a quilting assistant!
thank you so much for sharing your pictures of your beautiful cat...they made me happy but so sad..i just lost my 18 year old cat charlie..of all of our cats he was the one who greeted everyone at the door..waited to be picked up and hugged....would sit on the book you would be trying to read or on your lap when you were sewing...sorry to ramble on...
He is so cute. He reminds me of my big male cat. His name is Spike. He does the same thing. Don't you just love it!!
Just gorgeous! He & Aris are so much alike! I have a heated lar throw & aAris is currently sharing his time between it & my lap!
LOL isn't he adorable ... and doesn't his name suit him to he he he!!! I wish my Sophie was a snuggler - she's definitely not a lap cat - although she's happy to sit next to me ;o). How's Jack doing?? Is he still as cheeky as ever ;o)????
Love n hugs,
Ethel xxxxxx
Adorable!!!!
Just gorgeous and they do have a habit of just taking over LOL we're staff remember. I share my lap with a cat and a dog so know all about it. At least this cat doesn't steal things from my basket or knitting bag while I'm out LOL
Dreamer is definitely enjoying your lap. I have 2 cats and love them both, you're right they bring us such joy.
Oooooooooo he is dreamy for sure! Such a lovey boy! Indeed, our pets are the best!
xx, shell
So very sweet, but not being very helpful! Maybe he's dreaming of helping, biting on the strand of thread while you try to guide it through the needle.......
