Firstly I would like to say a huge thankyou to you all for leaving those lovely messages about our loss of Monty. We know that we made the best decision for her and that our grief was not only because of the loss of her but because of having to make that difficult decision. Dreamer cried for her all of yesterday but has settled back down today and is playing happily with Jack - So that is a small blessing.
I have not felt like doing much labourous work and have just lazed around stitching and scrapping really. This is the stitchery which you can find over at the Gumtrees Blog of Jenny Hoot's trip to Queensland. I think it looks nice just framed.
Today Amy and I decided that we would make a mess and do some scrapping - We are really messy scrappers !! I have had these vintage note books + some others for a little while and wanted to make something for myself so I glued and pasted and came up with these :-
2 Little note books to donate for the raffle table at the next cat show. (Jack's First)
I turned the index book into a address book to keep the contact details of all of my blogging friends. This has been on my "To Do" List for ages - Now I just have to find all of my little scraps of paper with people's addresses on them and fill it up.
And then I made myself a new Christmas Gift Book - I want to start crossing things off now for christmas gifts so this will give me a head start.
And finally I made myself a new "Book of Lists" - I like to write myself lists and then cross them off as I achieve them - It gives me something to strive for and I feel much more organised once I have a list.
I have also spent quite a bit of time snuggling up with this young fellow. He is bird watching in this shot. He is soooo naughty but gorgeous !
And I have wandered around my garden picking flowers.
So right now I am going to continue on my lazy day way and pop some of this gorgeous Raspberry Coulis Wax Tart into the burner
And do some more work on my latest design set
Using some gorgeous Woollen Felt and ceramic buttons.
I hope you too are having a nice relaxing weekend.
Love and Hugs - Fee XX

I've been slaving away in the garden helping the boss prune fruit tress and a run to the trip. Washed the dog, washed our bedding and just about to start ironing. Hopefully I can have a day to myself tomorrow1

Love the scrapping! Jack is such a cute little man & cuddles help sooo much. I've spent the morning cleaning the yard ready for the verge pickup & this afternoon & evening doing MYOB accounts for my friends calisthenics club - sad but true! Never mind, doing a soap making course next Saturday. Tracee xx
Loving the look of that new project - there is just something about houses that gets me every time. YOur note books etc look great - almost too nice to use!
Fee, I know it will help Dreamer to have Jack there...especially since he is so young and still at the very cute and playful stage, he'll keep Dreamer busy.
I love your stitchery of Jenny Hoot. And your beautiful books you made, how lovely. I'm a listmaker myself and it does make a difference to have something beautiful to write in. Your new design peek looks very yummy!
The little notebooks are very cute, as is the kitty cat!
Love your framed Jenny Hoot.
Messy or not that scrapping is beautiful -- enjoy your new books.
Looks like Jack is very much at home there, of course he needs to check out the neighbours.
Your scrap booking is very nice. When I decide to do scrap booking I have a mess every were well you need the right piece of paper and card bord and all the extra lol.
It looks like you had a very productive day after all Fee. Love your journals... can we ever have enough?
Hugs ~ Kerryanne
Hi Fee,
I started to cover a faux book today....it didn't work, I've walked away from the PROJECT for now.
Nice to see at least one of us had a productive day.
Sad to hear from your post below of your loss. xo
What a perfect kind of day! Love your books Fee. I'm so crazy over fun little books.
xx, shell
The owl made me smile on opening your page. Lazing around and scrapping turned out some nice books.
Hey Fee! Looks like you had a fun creative session ... I'm always a little suspicious of people who can stay neat and tidy while creating! Tee! Hee! Hee! Had a giggle at you popping the wax melts in the burner ... I usually have a lavender/orange oil combo in my burner when I'm creating! Obviously creativity requires pretty smells, too! :0) Bear Hugs!
