Look what arrived at my house on Sunday. Our new baby boy that we have called "Jack"
He is so playful and very very cuddly.... I spent hours playing with him yesterday and in the end had to hide the toy from him.
The other 2 cats are still trying to deicde if they like this new young up start. I think Dreamer might be starting to warm to him but I am sure that they will end up being great mates.
If you have been following me for awhile you might remember when Maddie was born? Well she is 2 on Thursday can you believe that? Time just goes so fast and she is growing into a real little lady.
When Anne of Bunny Hill Designs released her new BOM called Henrietta's Wishes I knew that I would have to make it for Maddie as she just loves squirrels. In true "Fee" fashion like a bull at a gate I made the block and had to squeeze the maple leaves in not realising that I had placed Henrietta too high on the block. Too late I had already appliqued it........
So I decided to make this block into a cushion for her birthday on Thursday and will make the quilt and give it to her for Christmas and then she will have a nice set. I just have to put her button on her ribbon and embrodier her eye now.
I have the next 2 blocks ready to stitch down now so will show you my progress soon.
I thought that I should show you some of my purchases from my weekend away - This is not all of it you understand? Some of it has already been stashed away for safe keeping.
I also wanted to show you a couple of the photo's from Thread and Ginger of the Tilda items that I fell in love with.
Eye Candy isn't it?
I just adore this and it would be perfect for Easter it is from the Springtime Gifts Book.
And lastly for today this gorgeous mirror from Shabby Streak that I so wanted to bring home - I am still trying to hatch a plan of buying it and getting it sent down - It is so gorgeous !!!!
Love and Hugs Fee XX

Looks like you had a wonderful time with all the girls! Your trip really sounds fun. Jack is a handsome little guy, enjoy him! Maddie is such a cutie pie, quite the little lady indeed! The Henrietta pillow is a good idea. I did the same with my Henrietta but decided to just leave her as is. That will be one cute quilt and I'm sure Maddie will love it!
Oh "Jack" is just so handsome. Yes they do love to play and play and play. It's okay during the day but night time is a little tiring. LOL
