I have a design book filled with ideas for quilts and other dreamy items just waiting for the right fabric to come along. Fabrics really inspire me and when I started to collect some Rounneries from French General I had an idea about what I wanted to do with it.
I ordered in some linen to team with it and began to put together the design.
Most of my designs have wording and hearts or flowers so this one could be no different ............
It's verse reads :-
A Home is built of peace and love
And not of bricks and stone
A place where happiness lives
And memories are sewn

And then TA DAH !! Finished - But now I am stuck...... What to call this french beauty?

There are sew many wonderful ideas for names I quite like the French ones myself, I can't think of anything better than those so I wont even bother trying, Lol. But I just wanted to let you know your quilt is beautiful!
Because the verse is about a loving home and the quilt reminds me a little of a Log Cabin block I'd call it 'Flowers Around My Hearth'.
