We Have A Winner and A Reminder

Thankyou all so very much for all of the lovely suggestions for a name for this quilt.  I have written a number of them down for future use.  It was very hard to choose just one but here is what Deb had to say :-

Hi Fee, its absolutely beautiful. I think you should call the Quilt " Fee's True Love" because of your love for your home, family and sewing.

Her comment really touched me because all of those things are important to me and in particular the making of my house into a home and the love of my family so it just fits really.  So she now has a name

The quilt will be published this year in Australian Country Threads Volume 11 - Issue 10 On Sale Late April, so you can all make one for yourself if you want to.  Start saving your red fabrics now - Here are the fabric requirements :-

75cm (30”) Natural Coloured Linen – Stitchery Panels and 2nd Border

75cm (30”) Lightweight Iron on Interfacing such as Weaveline for the stitchery backs

50cm (20”) Cream with Medium Beige Floral Print – 4th Border

60cm (22”) Red with Medium Tan Floral Print – 1st , 3rd and 5th Border + Binding

Fat Eighth of Red with Small Tan Floral Print

Fat Eigth of Tan wih Small Red Floral Print

Fat Eighth of Cream with Small Red Floral Print

Fat Eighth of Faded Red with no patterns

I have had lots of new designs on the go recently - All at different stages - Here is the latest Finish - "Lorraine's Flowers"  This name was suggested by Illene who recently lost her daughter to cancer.

I feel very honoured to use the name Illene - Thank you so much.  This table runner will be published in Patchwork & Stitching magazine later in the year.  When the table runner returns from it's photo shoot I will be sending it to you as a keepsake.
