Are you having a good week? We still have snow around us and it is not very warm. But it is great weather for stitching. Look what the mailman brought me this week. A lovely pincushion and pins sent to me by my friend Vicki - I guessed correct in a competition she ran on her blog and this was my prize. I will treasure it Vic.
So with the weather so cold I have been stitching each evening - I have 2 more blocks finished for my Simle Pleasures quilt. That makes 6 and I am working on No 7. Just 5 more to go.
I have also been working on a new design in some fun bright colours using that little silver item there - I wonder what it is? Do you want to guess? I will send the first person who can guess correctly something special in the mail.
I have also been playing with some hexies for another new project. Don't forget that tomorrow is the day that Block 2 is released and the Giveaway is drawn.

Darling pincushion and love the stitchery. Time to snuggle in for the winter and stitch, stitch, stitch. Can you imagine how unhappy we would be if we couldn't use our hands??
I have no idea Fee...but I am sure it will be gorgeous...lucky you with the pin cushion, well done on the Simple Pleasures, I have completed all my stitcheries...that is the simple bit...LOL...

Is that silver thing a block viewer? Or a 'minifier' (like a magnifier but opposite) that makes everyhing look small?
Are you going to use it as a stamp?? I don't think so! Your stitcheries, as ever, are beautiful and I love that fabric you've used in your hexies - what is it?

My first thought on that silver thing was a die of somekind to cut circles from paper and maybe emboss at the same time? Or a wax seal? Love your work what ever you do...
That silver thing looks like a spring clip magnet I have on my fridge. So maybe a fabric notepad holder to hang on the fridge.
Is the sliver thing a magnetic closure of some kind. Thank you for sharing your designs with the world.
I think Barb beat me to it. I have a spring clip magnet on my frig that looks just like it. That pincushion is just lovely.
