So what is a girl to do?

I am super bored...... Today is day 6 of being 1 handed and not being able to stitch or do very much at all. But I am learning to use my left hand to navigate around the web and slowly type. So to curb the boredom I have been doing a little spot of shopping and browsing.

This is a gorgeous table that I won on E-Bay last night. I was like a woman possessed watching the final seconds count down. I got it for the bargain price of $48.99.
And of course a gorgeous table like that needs the perfect accessory so I have ordered this lovely table lamp from Mica Lighting.

I will try to not buy too much more but I do have my eye on a few more goodies closing in the next few days. Thanks for all of your lovely messages - I am healing well and looking forward to getting my stitches out on Tuesday.

Must be very annoying not to be able to use your hand. Must say you have used the time well and made some beautiful purchases.
Three more sleeps and you will be able to sew again.

Glory be, you are dangerous! Roll on Tuesday and the recovery of your credit card! You got some elegant stuff, especially love the table.

Nothing like some "Retail Therapy" to make a girl feel better any time.
I'm drooling over that table you bought ,Fee, its gorgeous.
take care and heal quickly

Hope you're healing well. I'm sure not being able to use both hands is much harder than we ever think about!

The movies your friend gathered plus roaming the computer will help, but I'm sure you'll miss cooking up those yummy looking goodies.

Just do what the doctor says, and he'll have you back to normal in no time. Hang in there!

Oh Fee it's so good to hear you sounding so well. I too had a few weeks off sewing and like you spent the time (and money) on the computer. Isn't it fun and so addictive? Oh and then there is the rush of the countdown to the closure of the auction - yeah. Have fun

Oh yes Fee, they're both wonderful.
So glad you 're keeping busy... it's hard to be 'handless' so to speak when we're always doing with our hands.
Take care of you. You'll be back on board before you know it.
