Flea Mark Finds + New Purchase Arrives

Today's boredom was broken by a short trip to the local flea market. Other than the usual local fresh vegies I made 2 purchases. Firstly is this lovely frosted and clear glass footed bowl which I am now using as a sweets dish - Just $2.00

I fell in love with this French cut lead crystal mini ice bucket - Just $10 because it had lost it's lid. It was covered in grime which was hiding it's true beauty, but after a nice hot soapy wash it sparkled like diamonds.

And looks great holding my bunch of paper roses.

And here it is sitting on my new table which is now home.

I found another lamp stashed away which I will use in the meantime, and of course just had to put one of my florentine doiley's on it. I just love my new table. What great finds have you found on E-Bay?

Two more wonderful finds Fee. You may be able to start a shop if you keep buying each day you can't sew. Four weeks is a long time.LOL

More great finds - love that ice bucket with the flowers! Your table looks wonderful, especially with your doily.
I don't shop on ebay anymore - hubby keeps finding cars. Our last 3 cars have come from there. GREAT deals, amazing deals and excellent cars, but honestly, our driveway is only so big!

I think it makes a much lovelier vase than it ever did an ice bucket, so who needs a lid?

Happy stitching,
