Have I told you yet that "Mothers Cupboard" is going to the Hobart Craft Fair 9th - 11th July 2010? There has been lots of preparation happening at MC Headquarters.

Which has meant lots of these - Empty Bolts !! Which in turn of course means that I have had to order lots more to replace them. Well that's my excuse anyway .........

The weekend was spent cutting fat quarters and packing pre-cut kits.

Kits look so lovely all packaged up - I know that I like to buy projects all ready to sew.

Do you have a preference for how you buy kits? Do you like to see lots of different fabric combinations or do you like to see the item made up in the colour combination on offer?

I have been working on lot's of little projects so that I can offer little taster kits for people who may not want to tackle a large project.

Here is a new design which is all kitted up and ready to go - Just need to tweek the pattern now.

I do not normally work with these colours but I am happy with the end result.

These colours are more to my liking. I am a Shabby girl at Heart. So this is a new stitchery/applique pattern (8" X 10") which will be offered at the fair in a little taster pack.

It is called "Shabby at Heart". You can purchase the PDF pattern for just $5 AU by clicking below. The pattern will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours.

With all of the fat quarter cutting happening I have been left with a few end of bolt pieces. I have put them all in one auction over at E-Bay starting at just 0.99c so if you are after a bargain or a stash building bundle
GO HERE to take a look.
I have gathered quite a few frugal tips in the past few weeks and will take some photo's to go with them to post for you next time. Until then,

You have everything covered! Wonderful fabrics and kits, you do such a great job! It's funny how when we go out of our comfort zone in colours, that we are pleasantly surprised. Have a fun weekend! Heather
