Finished Projects, New Projects + New Arrivals

A big box of divine yumminess arrived here this week.

Lots and Lots of handpainted feature buttons from Theodora Cleave.

I can't describe just how beautiful these are - You just have to see them for yourself !

They are all listed on my web site NOW on the What's New Page- Stocks are limited so be quick !!

I have had a productive week - Progress has been made on this latest design.

This gogeous monsterous toy sack designed by Helen of Hugs N Kisses has been finished. It is 29 1/2 Inches tall. The pattern was printed in HOMESPUN Volume 6 No 4.

I have also finished this lovely block keeper - The tutorial is on Teresa's Blog.

It is perfect for keeping all of your blocks nice and flat.

This is the project I intend to put into it first - "Up The Garden Path" It is a BOM I am designing for 2011. It is a queen sized quilt in shabby colours - My favourite !!

I do not have a quilt design programme so I have battled away for weeks with graph paper and Excel. It is finally at the point where I have chosen and ordered the fabrics. Now I just have to wait until they come to get started.

Have you seen Jenny's Cushion pattern she is selling for just $4.00 US to raise money to buy birthing kits for UNHCR to distribute to mum's? Hurry you only have until Sunday to get one. It is a wonderful cause.

Winter is just around the corner here in Tasmania, we have had to light a fire the past few nights to take the chill off the house - so I am off now to snuggle down along side and stitch the night away. Until next time,

Love those buttons - may just have to pop over and see if there are any left?

Gorgeous 'bag' from that Hugs and Kisses pattern - on my to do list one day, maybe perfect for the fabrics I recieved today.

Enjoy your new project, hope the fabric comes soon.

What great buttons! Love your projects - your bom sounds WONDERFUL! I can't imagine trying to design a quilt with graph paper, lol, I'm sticking with applique until I can afford EQ.
