I am attending a 3 Year Old's Birthday party today. I have finished the project that I designed as a gift for her. I can't show you anymore at this stage because the pattern is under wraps for a few weeks - I have been sworn to secrecy !!! I wonder what it is that I was asked to make for her????? I wonder if you can guess?
All little people's parties need party food so I have decided to make some "Frugal" Marshmallow Cones to take with me. Have you made them before? Kids just love them. You will need :-1 1/2 Cups White Sugar
1 1/2 Cups Water
6 Teaspoons Gelatine
Dash of Lemon Juice
Food Colouring
100's & 1000's
Ice Cream Cones
Makes Approximately 12
Place the Water, Sugar & Gelatine in a pot and bring to the boil. Boil for 5 minutes - Be careful it doesn't boil over.
Put it into a mixing dish and allow it to cool slightly.
Then beat until stiff - This takes a litle while. Put in a few drops of food colouring whilst beating. After it is stiff add a little dash of lemon juice.
Spoon into Ice Cream Cones and sprinkle with 100's and 1000's to decorate. Allow to set.YUMMY !!!!!!!!!
I am off now to wrap my gift and clean up the kitchen but I just wanted to show you the remains of my beautiful vintage jug that I knocked off the shelf this morning. I still have it's little sister but I could have cried - Gosh I am so clumsy at times !!! Hugs,

I'm so sorry you broke your little vintage jug - I broke my favorite vintage flamingo and just cried like a baby. Especially when I think of all the years it survived who knows what, and then comes me and snaps its sweet little neck. I should live in a rubber room.
Snap...I went to a 3-yo's birthday party today too, but I couldn't get the teacher out of me so had to give books!!!!! I'm sure your birthday girl loved her dolly... oops...uuumm....surprise!!!!!
I know just how you feel with the vintage jug...my middle name is 'clumsy'!

Love those marshmallow cones, I can remember buying those for my kidlets when we went to the shops ... that was a loooong time ago ;o).
