What a Wet Weekend we have had ........

Yes it's been raining all weekend so what is one to do ?? One must of course sew and then sew some more all whilst watching movies with her hubby.......... I am progressing with my Baguette Bag. The front, back and sides are now complete and I am just waiting on some stiff interfacing to arrive before I put the bag together.

I have had some fabrics from the Rounneirres Range from French General arrive. I have a little project in mind for these - Stay Tuned !

The binding on Tom's Birthday quilt is all ready to be sewn on in time for his 2nd birthday on the 10th December - Boy doesn't time fly.

I fell in love with this wall quilt at the last Quilted Crow Gathering. It is "Birds of Happiness" by Leanne Beasley. I am going to do mine in "Somerset Cottage" by Robyn Pandolph.

Over the summer break I am going to give our bedroom a make-over and this quilt will be perfect to hang over our bed. It measures a HUGE 45' x 27". To give you an idea of the stitchery it is 3 X A3 sheets pasted together - Just gorgeous ! The little birdies are needle turned.

I am also going to make these little thread baskets by Rosalie Quinlan. I am going to fill them with chocolates for the girl's teachers.

So as you can see I have plenty to keep me busy at the moment. I have made a list that I am steadily working through - We only have 4 weeks now so the count down has begun.

Until Next Time - HUGS

Looks like you have some lovely fabric and projects to keep you busy. Perfect weekend weather to stitch, I was surprised we had so many people turn out for the market. Tasmanians are a hardy lot!
