I am pleased to report that I did in fact find the binding for the butterfly quilt and I have sewn it on to the front and have hand stitched the back of 2 sides - Just 2 sides to go and a label and it is finished.
I have finished 3 of my angel story blocks which I will photograph and post this week. I have also finished my little christmas stitchery wallhanging and have almost finished a little bag with a stitchery on front. So I am getting there - slowly but surely.
My oldest and youngest daughters with their cousin have spent the evening making "banana" things to use up some banana's. The house smells divine and I have been told that I have to take samples to work tomorrow in my lunch. I have been shown banana muffins, banana spice cake and also a banana cake. They have done a wonderful job - Sam is 19 and Amy is 9.
Toby has settled in well and has slept on my bed both nights without wanting to get off which I think is pretty good for a 7 week old puppy. His toilet training is also going well with only 1 little accident which I blame myself for. He is the sweetest little fellow and seems to have a gentle little soul.
Anyway Iam off to get some beauty sleep (I need heaps) and will hopefully be able to pick up the needle and thread again after work tomorrow.
Have a great day tomorrow everyone and thanks so much for all of your comments - I am having a ball looking at all of your blogs.

Well done with your stitcheries. You will have them done before you know it. I'm looking forward to seeing your pic's of your finished things. Enjoy your banana things too.
How inspirational are you! Go girl! Love it when the girls cook and stitch too. Hay making is happening in earnest here, stitching etc is on hold. Debs
Yummy, those banana things sound good. I had to freeze some bananas today b/c they were getting all black. They will be perfect for smoothies!
Stop by my blog for a giveaway!
Hi Fiona,
The comments page seems to like me today:-) So here's a big, although belated, WELCOME to blogland! Glad to hear all is going well with Toby - he's just adorable. Hope your Banana lunch goodies were as good as they sound. Its nice that the girls like to cook together.
Cheers,
Kathy
